  • About the Procedure
  • Unlike medial epicanthoplasty, this procedure removes the epicanthic fold without bringing the eyes closer together, creating parallel double eyelids. Since the incision is made along the inner double eyelid line, scars are barely visible from the outset.
  • Our Differentiating Approach
  • We carefully listen to each patient's individual desires to determine the optimal incision design. We utilize a W-shaped incision to minimize visible scarring. However, a W-shaped incision, if not performed by an experienced surgeon, carries the risk of an irregular outcome. Dr. Umeda possesses extensive experience with upper eyelid incisions from his previous clinic, ensuring you can undergo the procedure with complete peace of mind.
