Procedure Duration

Follow-up Visits / Suture Removal

Suture removal will be performed after 7 days.

Makeup

Makeup application is permissible from the day following suture removal, with the exception of the incision site.

Bathing / Facial Cleansing

Showering and facial cleansing are permitted from the day of the procedure, provided care is taken to avoid wetting the incision site. (From the following day, the incision site may also be gently cleansed.) Full bathing is permissible from the day after suture removal.

Risks / Potential Side Effects

Post-operative swelling, pain, bruising, infection, discomfort, asymmetry, scarring, wrinkling, localized fullness, regression of results, increased tooth visibility, cyst formation.

Downtime

During the initial 2 to 3 days post-procedure, it is common to experience noticeable swelling, edema, and a sensation of discomfort. Significant swelling typically resolves within approximately 1 to 2 weeks.

Post-Procedure Care

Minor bleeding from the incision site may be observed on the morning following the procedure. Gently blot the area with a clean gauze. It is imperative to rinse your mouth and brush your teeth thoroughly after every meal.

Contraindications / Ineligible Candidates

Patients currently on anticoagulant medication (blood thinners, depending on the specific type), individuals with severe diabetes, or those with a keloid predisposition.
